My health priorities:

Health checklist – young

  • Pap test every three years starting at age 21
  • Pelvic exam every three years
  • Blood pressure tested at least once a year
  • Check your own skin for changes that may suggest skin cancer once a month; have your doctor check your skin once annually
  • Talk to your doctor about contraception, family planning and fertility
  • Build healthy habits like good nutrition and regular exercise, and avoid unhealthy habits like smoking
  • If you’re not already immunized, talk to your doctor about the cervical cancer vaccine
